i just let nature run it's course in my cichlid tank. many a fry have grown up so far.currently have about 30 assorted sizes that have made the cut. if you are breeding to sell, i say start a grow out tank. if not just let things run there course

there is often no way for them to tell what might be lurking in the rock when received. Often times you buy rock hoping to get some hitchhikers. sometimes you get the bull & sometimes the bull gets you.

i have over 60lbs of ex live rock in my tank at the moment. has not hurt my fish at all. fish growing fine and have spawned a few times also. currently have fry swimming in there at this time. bumble bee cichlids

the sump only holds the water for your tank. you do not need to prime your sump after a power failure. after the power returns your pump will pump the water back out of sump to your aquarium.

just looking for a little help in maintaining good quailty water for my livestock. 20% changes every week no overfeeding. would the uv rays be bad for the fish?

just a thought i want to add UV to my tank to kill off any bad things in the tank. i have a power compact fixture that uses 2 lights, would it be possible to replace one bulb with a UV bulb and have it work as a UV sterilizer for the entire tank

it has a thumb screw adjustment on the top of the unit it also has automatic temperture control

that is the best picture that i could get sry. no crown and it is soft it will withdraw if you get close to it. as for the other they are already out of control. going to get a nudi or some shrimp to help get them under control. tank is fowlr so i'm not worried just yet.

could someone please tell me what these tubes are have been the tank for awhile now and would kinda like to know what they are
