    keep in mind that goldfish need quite a bit of space, with fancy goldfish needing about 10gals, and long bodied goldfish(commons/comets) needing 20gal per fish. if you going to have a strong current i wouldn't recommend fancies as they really aren't strong swimmers

    if im not mistaken i think pictus get to be about 5-6 inches and when large enough they may try to eat smaller tank inhabitants such as tetras....other than that their bottom feeder's who zoom back and forth using their whiskers to search for food
