hi the angels and plecs are in a 50gal (uk)with a tetratc ex 1200 filter,and the banjos are in 30gal tank with a tetratec ex 700

they love the sand, they burrow into it, it`s the last you see of them, they are nocturnal sat up half the night trying to get a picture, only got the one.

I use api used it for over 35 years never done me wrong, as for testing your water once a week twice a week what ever your are comfortable with,eventually you will be able to tell if there is something wrong with your water with the behaviour of your fish,there is an old saying we dont keep fish...

top one is 42 us gal 48"x 12"x 18" bottom one 28 us gal 36"x12"x15"

male has more pointed anal fin also females have a red to pink belly

if they are imported from Singapore they are having problems with their stock at the moment, i got these two from europe.

hello all i have been keeping freshwater tropicals for more years than i care to remember,and still learning and hope to learn more from you guys on the forum, as i have recently retired due ill health i have more time to look after my tanks and too annoy all of you on the forum :)
