    If you have a sump the water will be aerated by nature of falling water. Air stones are unsightly and do take away from the beauty of the tank.

    Hagen calcium test results

    Salifert test kits are excellent. The CA kit is accurate as far as I can tell. I highly recommend these kits. A bit more expensive but isn't your reef investment worth a test kit that cost a few more bucks?

    I'm not a fan of the cloudiness either. Fortunately it only clouds for an hour. I've typically added it at night, just before my lights go off, so that I don't have to see the cloudiness. In the morning I'm back to crystal clear.
