    Algae ID?

Just today I went to my LFS and picked up some Candy Cane Coral. However, when I got home I noticed some different types of algae's growing on the coral. Can anyone tell me what kind of algae they are and if I need to get rid of them. Thank You!

    Sick Anemone!

Thanks for all the suggestions. In time I would definitely want to upgrade my lighting with the nanocustoms kit but at the moment I don't have the money( I'm only 14). However, you are right that I need to have a test kit on hand, and I am going to get that as soon as possible. About removing...

I'm not really sure of the exact water parameters but my LFS said they they were perfect. About the lighting I have 24 Watt 10,000K & Actinic, and since it's a Biocube I can't really change them. About the feeding normaly my marron clown feeds it about 4-5 times a week but lately he's been...

    Stocking Question

I also have a 14 Gallon Biocube and I agree with Kurt. Already you are overstocked and as Kurt said the Wrasse needs plenty of room to swim around. As far as corals I have an Open Brain(Bottom of tank), Tube Coral(Middle), Chili Coral(Middle), & Xenia(Top).

    29 Gallon BioCube Reef Tank?

I currently have a 14 Gallon Biocube and definitely agree with lando i would remove the bioballs and replace them with LR Rubble, secondly, i would ditch the filter cartridge and replace it with purigen, it's 100 ml and it comes with a mesh bag. (100 ml takes care of up to 100 gallons and the...

    Nasty Aiptasia!

I have a 14 gallon biocube and one moderately sized aiptasia that bugs me. I have read on some other threads, that using Joe's Juice in a tank that size is a bad decision. What do you think??? How do i get rid of it???
