Thank you. One more question. The Blue sponge in the right side tank. Do you ever take that out and rinse it out? I did once and it was gross!

I have my 14g Biocube for 6 months, things are fine. But, I have a bunch of questions built up after I guess my breaking in period. The stats first. 1 Perc Clown, 1 Ocala Clown Fish (wasn't sold a match pair). 1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp 2 Turbo Snails 3 Regular Snails 3 Hermit Crabs 2 Small Cone...

Clown Fish escaping 14 Gal Biocube.

How exactly do you put the egg crate in there? holes down? Doesn't it get soggy and rot after awhile? BTW...It's two Perc's. If a 14 gal can't take 2 perc clowns and a cleanup crew I'm out of this hobby. I know it can.

Clown Fish escaping 14 Gal Biocube.

I've had 2 clownfish in my Biocube for 2 weeks now. Three times, I've come home or woken up to seeing only 1 of the 2 fish in the tank. They keep getting themselves somehow into the chamber on the left hand side where the pump resides. Both the bigger clown and the smaller one have done it...

14 Gal Biocube - beginner questions

Thanks. I wasn't aware I needed an ammonia source. Please advice. The guy at the store (a very good one), said, add live sand and live rock, and let it go and it'll start the cycle by itself in 3 days. Is that wrong?

14 Gal Biocube - beginner questions

So, how's my setup? Like I said...first attempt at any of this. I actually totally rearranged things tonight. I wasn't happy with my first attempt. Also, it's been 4 full days. Doesn't look like cycling has happened as ammonia levels were low, basically everything was low. Oh..and I had a...

Thanks for any help. I just setup yesterday my new 14 Gallon Biocube and have a few beginner questions. Salt level is 1.022, 13 lbs of live rock added, live aggregate added to bottom. Turned it on. Here are my questions. 1: Now what? Do I just leave it for 3-4 weeks? Should I be...
