Ok. This is what I did...... Added a 24W CF 13 inch 10000K light on the left side of the tank. Really brightened it up. Adjusted the timer for a full 12 hours plus......on at 6 am (so I'm not grumpy and road-ragey in the am!) and off at 8. That should give me some time to enjoy them...

Ok. I admit it, I'm not very bright when it comes to lighting! I know I'm supposed to leave the lights on for about 12 hours max. But does that lighting have to be constant, or can I have it on from about 6am to noon, then again from 4pm to 10 or 11 pm? I am gone at least 9 hours per day...

Did you get this one from the lfs that keeps them on the back wall with the circulating water rather than the cups?

I know this thread is 2 years old.....but....... Gotta say I'm REALLY impressed with Odyssey Pets! I've never seen such well cared for tanks. They don't have a huge selection of fish, but they are reasonable, have great plants, and corals. Have some odd-ball critters. Love them! :usa
