    Topical Fish Market

Just sitting here waiting to go to work, and on CNN they had a segment on the tropical fish market in Florida. They say the low temps have killed over 70% of the fish.

    Location of ceramic diffusor

I was just wondering if the location of the diffuser has a large impact on the diffusion of the co2 into the tank. I have a small 15 gallon tank with DIY co2 and a glass ceramic diffuser. I previously had the diffuser on the opposite side from the filter. Today I moved it so the bubbles go...

    Finished DIY stand

On the sides I just used 1/4" plywood, however there is 2x4s running vertically for support. The 2x4s are definately overkill though, this little stand weighs a lot.

    Question about my PWC's

I have the knock off Python, I think it’s made by Aqueon. Anyhow when I change water I turn off the filter (hang on the back, powerfilter) and siphon the water out with the python. When refilling I turn the valve and let the clean water run in the sink for a minute, then fill my tank. Then I...

    Hello Everyone

Hi, I've been lurking around this site for a couple weeks. I figure it's time I introduce myself. I'm relatively new to the hobby, I had a 10 gallon FW tank for about 6 months and recently upgraded to a 55 gallon. My tank is home to 2 neon tetras, 2 black skirt tetras, and 2 serpae tetras from...
