What about where it connects under the tank ? I have the same setup on my 72 the only difference is it was post to have a hole in the elbow but it didn't and I never worried with it
The foam is in one tray I guess it's purpose is to filter out stuff so looks like I would replace it with the poly fil. So do I take the ceramic rings out of there bag there in or do they stay in it ? This is my first canister also. I think I should have got a different on I think
Ok this canister came with instructions what so ever. How are the 3 media trays post to be installed it came with carbon. Filter foam and bio balls. Also are u post to leave the carbon and bio stuff in there little net bags they came in ?
Well Sand storm is taking longer than I expected to clear so Looks like im going to get a HOB so my canister will not do all the work. Any suggestions??
Thanks for the info just whisk my canister would cone to help take care of the sand storm in the tank. Came close on buying a HOB for a 30g tank to start taking care of it
I had a 30g freshwater first. I got up on morning and sold the 30g went and got the 72G B and had it for about a year or so. The rocks and everything just got so nasty looking and it just got out of control. It was also the mixing of the salt and water changes and the Sump was never setup...
I dont know anything on plants so I will probably not go that route. Yep the that is a Nove Extreme Pro. I will only be using like 2 or 3 max bulbs on this tank
I dont think I will have planted tank but could be am option later. Yes you can run 3 lights only in it. It has 2 serperate switches on it to run 3 or all 6. What would be a good fixture to get then if this will not work ?
I have a 72 gallon bow that use to be a saltwater systme. I am converting it to freshwater. I was wanting to know about the ligths. Can i use my 48" 6X54 Nova Pro Extreme T5 fixture and if so what bulbs should i use?
