    Will a skimmer help Thanks for the reply. I don't have a power head yet, my filter outllet has a very strong output so, I pointed the outlet up towards the surface. Also, I just installed a Red Sea prizm protein skimmer, will this help?

    Hi all, first let me say hello to everyone, I just joined and this is my first post. I have a 46 gal FOWLR with a fluval canister filter. My water looks like it has dust floating on the top and in the water. Can anyone tell me what this is and how I can clean it up?
