    Dark purply threadlike algae

    I have in my 29 gal reef a dark algae. I can't put pictures up right now, but if anyone knows about this help would be appreciated. It is a drak, purplish-black algae, and is stringy. It grows very fast, almost doubling its area in one day. ANy ideas on what it is and how to control it are wlelcome.

    Tangs compatibility

    I got a 65 gal. FOwLR setup with a Flame Angel, Pearlscale Butterfly, and Maroon Clown. The Maroon Clown can go if it has to, but I'm looking for a tang that would fit my tank. Sorry, but if you can give anything other than the Yellow Tang I would appreciate it.
