FishStarter89 a great way to start on some nice plants are the bulbs you buy at wall mart or any chain store. they grow really easy and are inexpensive. thats how i first started.

i agree the tank is looking good and i love the contrast of the light and dark gravel.

i have been really lucky and have gotten only sweet angel plecos :lol:

I wasnt looking into the fish hobby at all. I went with one of my friends to the pet store cause she need to buy some food for her dogs. I was checking out the betta fish and right then and there i had to buy this beutiful blue boy. I got the kit and in less then a week i got a bigger tank...

Ive moved mine in rubber maid tubs..for over an 8 hour trip. NO deaths just a little stressed.

This tank is looking pretty sweet so far. I cant wait to see it mature.

Some of my fish make a fit about the flash. Ive had a few that seem to pose for the camera.

Hello everyone im new to the site but not the hobby. I currently have a 55g plated freshwater tank. that isnt housing to many at the moment. 2 angels 1 whiptail catfish 4 cory cats 1 dwarf puffer 1 orange flame tetra I also have a 1g cherry shrimp tank..they will be moving to a 10g soon:)
