Good tips everyone! I have something to ask or add here, what about quarantining corals before putting them in the main display?? I have not seen that mentioned yet, but I have read in some post people do that with corals as well.

What about adding some coral? I was wondering, since my tank will be fishless for a couple of months, can I start adding some coral. That was my original plan, to add some coral but of course the ich problem surfaced. I believe coral would not be affected by ich is that correct?

I have tempature swings. I try to keep it about 78 but in the am it can be as low as 74. I just want to try and maintain a stable temp.

update Well all fish are gone now, so I am about 4 days into my 8 week wait. Now I do have another question, with all the fish gone will my live rock start to die off? Will I need to "feed" the growth I have somehow? Just curious

I have just acquired a one spot foxface and a copper banded butterfly. I have been feeding my current inhabitants frozen brine shrimp, and algae sheets on occasion. Will these be sufficient for my new arrivals or should I supplement my current diet with additional treats?
