I'm kinda waffling on what to put in it... My original intent was a betta and a few shrimp, but I think I might like something else instead. You guys have any ideas? What would work well in heavily planted, heated 2.5g tank?

Here's a 2.5g hex I set up on my desk at work. I just put the plants in this morning, so the water is still a little cloudy. Whaddya think? I love this quote! A little closer... macro lens = brighter. And a little closer... The rock thingy I got from WalMart, and cut the fake plants...

One other thing - make sure you try it in different locations. Concrete floors are never perfectly flat. Whatever you do to level it, do it in the exact spot the tank will be kept.

You can get 10 watt CFLs (compact fluorescent lights) the same size your incandescents for a few bucks each at WalMart.
