Well I am glad to hear that someone else's has taken this long hopefully mine will start soon. I'll have to see if my buddy will mind me borrowing some filter media to hopefully speed things up. :wink:

Unfortunately the eclipse filter is non adjustable. Thats really the only knock I have on the setup. That and it has a small area to which food can be dropped in (opening where door is is blocked mostly by filter).

I meant to mention that I did add a handfull of gravel from a friends tank that has been established and healthy for over 2 years at the end of the first week. I know this should help things along which has increased my concern.

I've got my Betta in the 3gal eclipse. I know some have said it has too much water movement for a Betta, but he doesn't seem to mind. He even spends most of his time in the current. Plenty of room to move around as well.
