I'm hearing the penny against glass tapping that tells me I've got one of those snapping, smashing, spearing type of shrimp. How do I tell what type of shrimp it is. And if it is a bad guy, How do I catch him and sump him. I've heard these taps for a while but just cant find the little guy...

Unfortunately mine seems to have met the same fate as yours. It must have been a suicide. He jumped into one pump in the morning, and after being saved, he jumped into another. This time it was fatal. :(

Okay guys, DONE! Placed a precut 2x4 directly in front of the support I planned on removing. suscrewed the support and it slid right out. Removed the 2x4, placed the sump below and put it back together again. As for the heater vent, How else am I supposted to keep the water at 85 degrees? J/K...
