I went online and looked at tanks that size and saw them ranging from $40,000 to $700,000 I would be careful building something that big yourself. If it breaks its gonna flood the room. By the way how high are the ceilings in your house? were you just gonna set it on the floor?

catmel I would recommend going with a sump instead of buying another skimmer. Then you can use the money you would spend on a new skimmer towards your sump it will make your tank look better and run better.

Well so far my endeavor to The Home Depot seems to have paid off. I made my own out let pipe out of PVC and as of today my micro bubbles are very minimal :)
