he's looked fine last nite but came home today and no more nemo.he's been in the tank for 5 weeks.i've been doing weekly pwc's.the water parameters have been good and steady.no major changes.i don't get it.any guesses?

my tanks 6 weeks old i do water changes weekly my 2 fish look great but there seems to be an oily film on the surface of the water.is this normal.?and if not how do i stop it

ok so when i do my pwc(weekly 'cause i don't use a skimmer)the new water has a ph of 8.4 but by the end of the week my ph is down to 7.8.i'm using bottled distilled water for my topoff and conditioned tap water for pwc.please don't comment on the tap water i hope to change that very soon.anyway...

starting a 10g tank it's been 12 days i got the dead shrimp and some live rock and 20lbs of live sand.i have yet to get any ammonia levels and my ph just drop too 7.6.is tis normal?i woulda thought i would be showing some ammonia by now and why is my ph dropping?
