I agree ... I think my personal threshold is gonna be to strive for 0ppm but do a PWC if they ever hit 15-20ppm. I have switched to an every other day feeding schedule as I know I am guilty of overfeeding. My LFS operator says he has customers that come in that test at 100ppm on Nitrates...
