2 Yellow Labs, 3 Acei, 1 Blueberry Zebra, 1 Peach Peacock, 1 Johanni, 1 Auratus, 2 Livingstonii, and 1 of a light blue little guy... not sure what he is. 50g tank... am I overstocked? Am I stocked with species that don't belong together? Haven't had any issues so far. They are all juveniles.

I feed him freeze dried bloodworms, freeze dried baby shrimp, brine shrimp, small snails... I've never tried fiddler crabs. They have to be pretty small right?

1 tablespoon of salt per gallon, just to get him started on the saltwater transition. Does my water change method have to change when it comes to saltwater?

I got him last night! I added 1 tblspn per gallon before I picked him up, I used the drip method to acclimate him to the new water. He seems like a happy dude. I also found out that they actually lay down to sleep! Weird. I thought he was dead.

So, I set up a 10 gallon tank for a GSP and I'm pretty excited. Is a 10 gallon okay for 1 puffer? I read online somewhere that they prefer at least 5-6 gallons per Puffer? I have PFS as a substrate, some big rocks, some fake plants, and a filter that can turn the tank water at least 4 of 5...

So live plants helped huh? I don't have the lighting or co2 for plants.

Well, I don't think my test kit is expired because... I tested my water this afternoon and the pH is back up to 7.6, so I think I'm on the path to recovery.

I found out that adding baking soda will help raise the pH level; then I found out that adding more aeration, and taking the glass lids off will help raise it as well. I think I should have tried the later option first. Did I screw up by adding the baking soda. I added 4Tblspoons to my 55g and...

Thanks... I will do that tonight. As of right now I am down to ONE dalmation molly and one black molly. I also have a couple of B.A. Tetras and a couple of Hi Fin Tetras. I did a water test a few minutes ago, and found that my pH level is down quite a bit... 6.0 I know that livebearing fish...

Okay... My 55g tank that has been up and running for about 5 months now with no problems has been giving me problems. I've had one dalmation molly die, two adult white mollies and 5 1 mo. Old fry, and my other white molly is not looking good. I don't understand.... I do weekly water...

I hear that Play Sand is very sharp... too sharp for fish, and could tear up your filtration. Try Pool Filter Sand... looks great. I just bought some this afternoon.

I just looked @ some pics of tanks with pool filter sand.... WOW... very nice. If I decided to change my substrate whats the best way to do that, concerning the fish obviously. Will the massive change shock the fish should I put them all in my 10 gallon while I'm changing substrate or what?

Awesome, thanks! I'm not sure what kind of snails I have, they were in the bag with my Anacharis... I'm guessing NERITEs are a type of snail; I look for some.
