Not to sure although i have idea...mabye porceline crab. Comes out a little from its small crevice and these fanlike appendages wave about. it seems to be very small with one larger claw with nice markings.It also has a very small claw about the size of a pinhead. I use a magnifier to see it.

at last I got one of them too, although about as thick as a matchstick with the same description..Slithers out of a hole in the rock and the front part fold's back to jaws and it just seems to crunch at the rock and then retreats back to its hole. Inclined to think it's some kind of bristle...

It looks like a segmented worm. Like a centipede almost but as I said any movement and it disappears back into it's hole in the rock.

Don't think I have placed corals wrongly although I thought they required good lighting. I had a problem with ICH and I used a treatment called exodin and I wondered If mabye didn't help although instructions said reef safe.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong with corals in my tank. PH 8.2- 8.4, ammonia 0, nitrate0.5, nitrite 0. My corals don't seem to open. Mushrooms shrivelled up, polyp's only some opening a little bit and now the rock that they are on is breaking up, xenia shrivelled up and died although 2 camel...

I have now purchased another ammonia test kit........reading 0.0. Now all I have to do is find out why my corals not opening properly.I have 2 camel shrimps and they don't seem to leave them alone. Is that some of my problem or is there a defiency somwhere something lacking in my water makeup...
