hi again. i got the filter built and worked great, however, the pump i had is a little too big for my HOB overflow. the sump is in basement, so pump needed to manage about 7 foot head, which this does, a bit too well. (quietone 2200) anyway, irrelevent because i managed to break my HOB overflow...
