Left to Vegas for a long weekend and totally forgot about the sump. It was a hot weekend too so the sump ran dry for about a day. Almost every thing was lost except for some mushrooms and a clown.

Some parts do look like cyano. Like Austinsdad said check your phosphate level. Have you used tap water for your tank?

They could be feather dusters and aren't harmfull. Is the hair algea green? Try posting a new thread and include your tank size, what you have in it (fish, coral, snails, crabs), hours you leave the light on.

3 months is fairly new. If you want to add corals i would say mushrooms and zoanthids. Try those and see how it goes.

You can keep injecting them. I had the same problem a few years back and that got rid of them. Shouldn't be hard to find them cuz if I'm not mistaken they like light. I know you probably have hundreds of them but you can "crop dust" them. They're hungry little monsters and will grab it.

The spots should be fine. The other algae your talking is it like a red/brown "blanket" on the rock? Can you post a pic?

Sorry about the loss. If you get a few it doesn't always mean he'll stop. He may go after the smallest and do the same. I speak from experience.

Thought i'd say hi. I live in Santa Clarita. I've been to most LFS around the San Fernando Valley including Aquarium Center (RIP), Vivid and Rainbow. Rainbow is the one i usually go to the most.

Thought I'd introduce my self. I have 55g sw. Use to be reef but as the years went on I didn't take care of it much. I put a pic of how it used to look below. Now its just a tank with rock. I'll slowly start rebuilding it again, might get a 100/125g tho.
