    Pigeon spikes as predator deterrent I forgot to mention that I put them in the water at night and took them out in the morning. The rubber strips were rolls of rubber baseboard. I put screws through the bottom of the base and into the spikes.

    uv filter question

    I installed my UV filter between the pump and the biofilter and had no problems at all. Crystal clear water, healthy fish, healthy nematodes. Everyone was happy. They must have been; they spawned like crazy!

    :( My pond has been perfectly healthy for a year. I had a bit of algae bloom, so I have been cleaning the filters every other day or so.
