    Nerite snails and black sand.. death?

    Hi, I bought two nerite snails and they moved for half a day then didnt move. I have black sand. Could they choke on the sand? Why would they just die? and yes, it's been two days and they havent moved. they are dead.

    GH rose from 7 to 13, any ideas?

    hey all, Over the weekend my GH went from 8 to 13. the only thing I have started to do differently is dosing seachem flourish. My params before the weekend were: pH 7.4 Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 5 GH 8 KH 5 My parameters yesterday and today were pH 7.4 Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 5 GH 13 KH 5
