I believe I found the problem...

Thanks for the replies. I am going to do the two-part solution. My attempts of PWC have only brought up my calcium levels about 20.

    Coral Banded Shrimp

I feed daily and in my opinion its a lot! I only do that though is because my damsels go into like a shock and idk why. They get white spots all over them or turn pure white. After the lights are turned on and they eat they are fine. Is there a reason behind this? And I'm getting rid of at least...

    Coral Banded Shrimp

I don't have a test kit for that. I would imagine it be high since I have hair algae growing. This was my reason for getting the turbo snails. Should I get a test kit?

    Coral Banded Shrimp

Okay I went to my lfs yesterday and bought a frospawn frag, three turbo shrimp, and a coral banded shrimp. My shrimp was fine yesterday and was acting normal. I noticed that it doesn't have the giant third leg (claw) on either side. Today I have caught it stuck on its back seven times. Is this...

    Live Rock Question

Oh okay so sounds good. I only planned to do my aquarium pound per gallon. I just didn't want to spend too much money!

    Clear Worm.

So after my shower yesterday I went to oogle my aquarium and found a small (1 inch) clear worm. As soon as I got closer to the glass it scurried into a hole in the live rock and hasn't surfaced again. It was too quick to get a camera. My concern is he was right next my zoas and I am unsure if he...

    Live Rock Question

If I am correct its Fiji rock or something in that sort, and I get lots of interesting hitchhikers. Thats pretty cool, but I enjoy the excitement of hitchhikers so I think I am going to stick with my lfs. I didn't know it was that good of a buy!

Is this some kind of sponge?

I didn't notice this on my rock until I was rearranging my rock and notice a spongy substance on the rock. Its yellow and is spreading. Just kind of curious if I am accurate on my assumption!

    Live Rock Question

I was wondering what y'all buy! Currently I have 24.7lbs of live rock in my 37 gallon. I need more of course, but I don't know if I should continue buying from lfs at $5 per pound. I saw on a thread somewhere that someone purchased sea base rock or some kind of other rock online for $1.49 per...

I found two new things in my tank. ID please!

One of them is a snail. I have no idea how it got into my tank though. Another is a worm. Is it a bad worm that I should exterminate? I caught both of them I just need to know what to do with them now!:grab:
