just curious....since eels seem to pick a hole and just peek their head out once in awhile and to feed....why would a larger tank be recommended? Is it because of the bioload? Thanks.

You can get a Nanocube for just under $100. It's 12 gals., comes with a protien skimmer, filter, and the pump. You could probably keep a percula clown OR damsel in that, and maybe a goby. I can't think of any fish that would do well in a 6 gal. Especially if you are just starting out. If a...

puffer No doubt the meanest fish I had was a porcupine puffer. He ate every damsel, a small panther grouper, my clown, and he even picked on my niger trigger until he eventually killed it. Cutest little face, but he was a beast!
