your tanks really beautiful. i dont want to add to much more as i dont want to over stock (had to take on a heap of my sisters neon tetras as she moved house). but i will focus on cleaning the tank and getting that all done first. thanks for the help!

okay that makes sence! so this is what ive done so far... day 1: set up tank with ro salt water, added sand and 2 peices of live rock to sump. its on day 5 now, should i buy 1-2 shrimps from the deli and add to my tank?

no i have not added any sort of ammonia source. all i have added is sand in main tank, 8kg of live rock in sump and it had a deep sand bed in the sump. im really confused is there 2 different types of cycles? a live rock cycle and a new tank cycle?

the problem is its filling up with just water, ive adjusted it heaps but only makes the water fill up faster. i left it over night and there was so many bubbles it kinda over flowed
