    I lost my coral beauty today.She was fine yesterday,but the strange thing was that the eyes were gone and a small piece of her tail.when i removed her,she was covered in a thick glob of clear mucus that stunk to high heaven.My tank has no foul smell to it and waterchange was carried out 2 days...

    coral banded shrimp R.I.P.

    Today my fellow salters,I lost my coral banded shrimp of 5 years.:sad:,i've lost others before but always through confrontation with other tankmates.Just curious,did he/she lived a decent life or is this a sign that something may be going on in my tank.The shrimp was completely intact.

    sufficient lighting?

    Hi reefers,I recently added some shrooms and colt coral to my 100gal (18"deep)and in the process of getting a frogspawn.I built a canopy and installed 4t5-54watts and 2t5-54watts atinics-all 10,000k.Should that do the trick?

    New to the forum,seems very nice and hope to learn alot.Have been in the hobby a few years but just recently got my toes wet into the wonderful world of reefing.Going very slowly with just mostly shrooms and a colt. :puppydogeyes:
