glad to hear he is still alive,I had a niger trigger go for a piece of food the same time the yellow tang did,the trigger took it's bottom lip clean off.

With it moveing under the rock it may be getting more light than it was getting before.Try not moveing no more than you have to causeing stress to the anemone.

Great looking tank,I read where you made your own ferts.How hard is it to make,or if you start selling again let me know.I am setting up a 120 planted tank that will have 30 to 40 neon tetras and some ots.I still have alot to learn about planted tanks.

Just like the guys stated,the main thing is patience,you just started an addiction that is an awesome hobby,you will be wanting corals later then the full blown reef,I know I went through the same thing.good luck

I found turface-all sport which is the same thing as turface mvp.I may need some gravel to hold in place,my return pump is causing a current in the tank,or cut the flow back alittle.

He just got back with me,it is the same as turface mvp,I will be picking up 2 bags at $14.00 a bag.

I talked to a guy at lesco,he is not showing turface mvp,but is showing turface all-sport.He is checking to see if they changed the name or is something differant.

I checked for a lesco and the closet one os 105 miles away,I have to go there on the 10th of this month,I guess I will stop by.Thanks again

Well I have checked with lowes,home depot,ace co-op,tractor supply and no one has it.What I have found is on ebay,but the price seems kinda high.

Has anyone ever used it for a planted tank.

I was just informed that turface mvp which is sold at some john deere stores is good substrate for planted aquariums.Does anyone have any experiance with it.

I am going for the planted tank,it is filled up and running now,just sand and 2 pieces of dw and a couple of rocks.I can remove sand.I have the flourite ordered,I figured 10 bags should be enough.

It is argonite sand,would it be best just use flourite at a depth of 3''.

I have 120 lbs of of sand that came from my reef setup,could I use this over flourite.At what depth should the flourite be and sand.The sand has been washed several times and is drying out.

I try to shoot for 78,even my tank gets up to 80.5 & 81.

I will be useing my co2, tank and regulator that I used for my calcium reactor it has the soleniod that will be ran by my rk2.What would be the best diffuser to use.I am thinking about putting the diffuser in my sump,if that would work.

Your rock work looks good,like others have stated just build around what you have so far.If you plan on any gobies I would make sure the rocks won't shift and fall.

Your tank looks great,if mine looks half that good I will be happy.

I put the light fixture on today with 2 aqua blue+ and 1 6500k and I really like the color.I am letting the tank cycle for about 2 weeks before putting fish or inverts in.

You will notice a differance,I really like my octopus 250.
