    Id help

What do you think? I think it's a 'Johanni', but idk if the colors are right? My longest is about 1.7 inches and the shortest is just over an inch. None of them show any signs of changing colors, but i def believe they're in the Melanochromis family..

    Morph Opinion

So I have this Sciaenochromis fryeri and I've been comparing my pics of it to a website that helps identify which geographical region your fish is from. Basically, how closely do you think my fish (the first 2 pics) matches the one in the last pic? Thanks!

    new grow out tank

So I added 5 rusty cichlids to my 75 mbuna community tank, and a dang 1/2" johanni has been harassing one of them, so I made it a grow out/ safety quarentine tank. What do you think? Lol

    Male or female?!?

Bout a couple months ago I got a cobalt blue (what I'm assuming) zebra cichlid and had it in a tank with some yellow labs. Recently I moved it to my 75 where it resides with 3 yellow labs (unsure of the sexes), a pair of kenyi (m/f), a pair of acei (m/f), and 5, 1" johonis (sp?) that I...

    big debate

Here's my dilemma: do I continue on working to make my 75 gal an mbuna community tank OR I do with a larger pair of fish as a breeding pair? I really like the idea of having lots of breeding fish. But the idea of having a big breeding pair would be cool. What are peoples thoughts?!

    fx5?

I have a 75 gallon mbuna community tank that I am in process of setting up. Would the Fluval FX5 provide enough filtration for the tank- I plan to over stock a little bit to reduce aggression. Thanks!

I'm in the process of setting up a 75 gallon Mbuna community tank. Feel free to give any ideas/opinions. So far just the right side is done- the left side is going to have a lot more rocks; I only wanted some on the right to make it look more natural and give enough swimming room. Also, any...
