    What type of substrate are u using? Do u have crushed coral as substrate? Larger pieces of gravel allow space for left over food to accumulate nitrates. What does your clean up crew consist of? Cleaner hermit crabs help clean the bottom of the tank.

    Phosphates? No good...hopefully you are using reverse osmosis water. I buy my water from the local pet store or petco. petco sells premixed saltwater, Phosphate-free!

    what would be a good companion with valentini puffer and Hawaiian6 line wrasse? My Hawaiian6line wrasse is an aggressive lil guy. Both fish keep picking on my percula clown fish....this is the second clown fish they killed :(
