We just acquired an aqueon sump system, along with an overflow box and a new tunze skimmer, for our 55 gal sw tank. Now to set it up... Anyone has experience with these? Got some tips for me? Will post some pictures when I am done setting it up.

They are definitely hitchhikers! We bought this tank used from someone last month, with all the stuff in it. He knew he had a crab in there, and he never bothered getting him out. That mandarin was in this tank for 14 months, and was doing super well too. Can't believe he's gone.

I used aiptasia-x on mine. My tank was full of them. I bought it from someone and he didn't take care of them. It comes with a syringe and it works like a charm. Kills them instantly. Just follow the instructions on the bottle.

Hello everyone! I am wondering if these 2 pink/purple things could actually be something growing on my rocks. If you look on the large picture it is at the middle of the tank at the top. It looks about 2 or 3 mm thick, and looks porous. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
