Ok, I have a 30 gallon with a double T5 lighting system, and a mated pair of clownfish. I feel I am experienced enough now to get an anemone for them. I am just asking for advice on keeping them and tips. (Example: Feeding, Light requirements, and personal experience.) Thanks...

Have not added copepods since last update. He is Doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is VERY healthy. I'll post pics later, but he swims alot eats algae and copepods alot :) GL to the rest of you

Just another update! My mandrin is still doing awesome!!!!!!!!!!! its been a while now,so here is another example that they don't need giant tanks.... :) wohoo!!

My Mandarin is still doing great! he picks at the rocks during the day and i think he eats pods at night!

Brown algae is often because of not enough light, Phosphorus, or too much nitrogen... Maybe not enough light??

Hmmmm do you ever leave the lights on(off) to long?? Or do you use a timer?

You dont need to. All salt does is make fish have more slime on them which protects them from disease. It wouldnt hurt either though

If the algae is still growing fast 2 days after the 50% change do another if not problem solved :)

And once you get the filter i would just do a 50% water change when you get it then regular water changes weekly after.
