For a Fowlr system this condy wont really cause too many problems. although it will probably move around a bit till it finds somewhere it likes.

Yah, they are plastic sponges that i picked up from the dollar store. 4 for a dollar. Works pretty well for collecting larger particles..

is it soft? slimy? hard? does it move when flow goes under it? sweep your hand above it in a waving motion to try and dust it off.. it could be a number of things..

Thanks guys.. yes theres alot of flow in the tank, and i can definately tell the polyp extension on the corals has not been as full as in the past.. However it doesn't appear to be affecting them growth wise, and eventually they will adapt to the flow.

Have you tried removing some of it? Maybe get a closer look that way.
