Ok, so i put about 20 lbs fine acrolite (sp) sand and 40 lbs of black sand. Today i heard a rumor that black sand is bad?? Verify? Thankss, Benhamine

So I Have a 55 gallon. With about 79 lbs LR. I wanna put a lionfish and eel in the tank. Are corals able to survive in a predator tank? I have a 3.5 in. Black sand base and I'd love to add some color to the tank... Any suggestions? Thanks, Benhamine

Well I'l post a picture tomorrow as well. Hopefully it starts to clear up. I didn't have a package in my tank, although when I introduced the black live sand there were multiple small woodchips.. Hmm

I have a 55 gallon. I have 1.014 salanity. I put 20 lbs fine grain sand and 40 lbs of live sand (black) my water is cloudy. Check out the picture. Good ph and alk too. Please help!
