So I went to clean out the fish tank today to notice the the gourami has lived:D I didn't see him the whole week but when I was moving stuff around I saw hiding in his cave so it wasn't a complete wipe out of all the fish I am so happy today to see that yay :D

Really bad news we had a snow storm on last Saturday lost power for a week freezing temps at night tried every thing I could do for the fish but all died :( I'm very sad

Hey everyone a couple of updates the dwarf gourami is doing very well in the tank and has built a bubble nest and I'm having a problem with green algae wondering what I should to remove it I'll do some research on hear about algae but any advice would be appreciated :)

Today I called the number on the paper and got permission to keep the fish tank yeah:D

Awhile back they had a tenet with a tank that broke, flooded and destroyed the floor so they didn't want that to happen again so they sent a paper to everyone to remove fish tanks from all apartments

Got bad news today where I live you can not have fish tanks of any size :( very angry about that finally got it all going and stocked and now have to get rid of it(>_<)

Betta died over the weekend :( I think it was old age I had her for a year and a half I didn't know how old she was when I got her :(

I think eco complete is a good idea I like the look and how it makes other colors pop so I'll most likely go with that and it will be better for the plants too Thanks for the suggestions :)

Hello thinking of doing substrate change to some thing more natural looking but need some Ideas. I have a ten gallon tank with gravel substrate. I'm still pretty new to this have had this tank setup for a while now it's cycled and it has fish in It too. Any ideas would be great.
