Tunicates. It looks like there are some on this rock and they seem to go right with the webbing or mucus like stuff on the rocks. I saw the little clear tubes when looking real close. Anyone have anymore info on this?

These are not single threads. I have those also but diagnosed them some time ago. This is like a film or mucus across the whole rock.

This stuff has been on my rock since I got it 4 months ago. Hasn't spread to any o the other rocks. I have scraped at it and it is soft like cotton or spider webs. Thanks

Is there at times Hermits that just go after snails for no good reason even with shells? I especially like my Nassa and Turbo snails. Of course I don't want anything to needlessly die under my care.

I know people keep them in the same tank but to what cost to the snails? I have 5 Astrea Snails (small), 5 big Turbos and a small Nassarius for the sand. This is in a 55g with 60lbs of live sand and rock. What have been people's experience cohabiting snails and hermits? Thanks
