Anyone else have any ideas?

I already have t5 bulbs. I don't like them much. They get incredibly hot (mine are kinda older). I am mostly interested in either an LED setup or a mixture of mh/t5/led on a fixture.

There are no reef safe methods that will cure your tank of it. You will need to QT and do either hyposalinity or a copper treatment. The DT will also need to be emptied of fish for awhile (6-8 weeks) Using those reef safe methods only prolongs the inevitable.

I think you should increase the salinity slowly. Atleast give your best effort to save him. How quickly did you lower the salinity that he was in? Did you do it over a matter of a few days or all in one day?

You only need to quarantine the fish. It's a fish disease. Everything else can stay in the DT. The DT will need to be fishless for awhile.(6 weeks I think).

I am in need of a good timer for my lights. I have three different outlets (1 actinic, 1 t5, and 1 moonlight led) I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good one? I also need to buy a refractometer. I would love any advice!

You need to test for more things then just ph. You need to buy your own testing kit. For ph ammonia nitrites and nitrates. Also what are you using for water filtration?
