Ok, now I am totally confused. First I read not to use salt water to top off the tank and then I read where you add salt to the RO water before adding to tank. You need to add salt to the RO water before adding? thanks again:confused:

really new at this stuff---when adding corals do you actually place them on the rock where you want them or do they navigate to where they want to be? I have read several different articles on coral and none say exactly how you place them in the tank. Dont want to hurt or offend them. thanks

it seems like my sw tank, 125g, is needing water about every 4 to 5 days. not much, maybe half a gallon, is this normal? i have no leaks and it is a brand new tank.

Hello, I have a fully cycled 125 gallon reef tank that I just added a Blue Tang to. he is totally beautiful but likes to hide all the time. Is this normal for the Blue Hippo Tang? He is not showing any distress or illness-he just stays in the upper corner of the tank. :confused:
