Recently my benga male has been giving this female the ole "how you doin?" And chasing her around. Could she be a benga variation? Her marking are the same as a benga female except the top of her head is slightly different. Thanks sorry third pic is a duplicate of first pic

Sorry if this is in wrong section. I just set up a grow out tank what's everyone's feeling on substrate. My fry tank is bare bottom which i like, but I'm now thinking of adding sand to the grow out tank. Opinions?

First pic attached : female (holding) electric blue ahli I believe. What do you think? Pic 2 attached. I have no clue but have a pair if them. Nice size. Black with orange dorsal and anal fins. Any ideas?

Hi all-I just stripped my holding yellow benga female. 19 fry now in the net breeder in the fry tank. Already in there are 5 blue ahli fry (still very small). Got to set up the grow out tank. :dance:

I noticed one of his eyes was sort of cloudy and slightly distended. I will try and get a pic tomorrow, but based on those things I've spotted, and clues as to what's happening? Thanks

Well this was a fun bi weekly tank cleaning. I found female blue ahli. I moved her to main tank and continued my cleaning. I was getting ready to flip the pump on when I spotted fry in the sump. I was able to net 6 and move them to a breeder. Pretty cool :-)

Its day 2 of no power. I did a nice cleaning and pwc the morning before storm hit. I have 1 battery powered air pump. Main tank gets battery pump most of the time....I drop it into fry tank occasionally. Main tank temp down to 77.4 fry tank down to 74.2 It's supposed to warm up today so Maybe...

Came home tonight and my yellow lab that I put in a separate take spit two fry. She still has more in her mouth. Very exciting :-) Should she spit the rest soon? Will she try and eat them? Thx Rod

I think so...what do you think? She's not eating much or not at all and stays by herself alot. I attached a couple of pics.

I have one yellow lab that is very aggressive and territorial. I added rocks to the opposite side of the tank hoping it would give everyone else some space. Didn't work...he owns that too. Any suggestions? I'm thinking re homing may be only choice.
