I made some frozen fish food myself and put a whole bunch of almonds in the blender with the mix. Its still in the freezer but maybe he'll like that. If not, well he's gunna have to learn to like it!

My jack used to eat flakes and cichlid pellets like a normal little JD. But I used to feed my pacu almonds every other day as snacks, and the JD would quickly grab the ones the Pacu missed. Now all the JD will eat is almonds. What the heck?

The place we got him would probably have taken him, but they shut down last year. The Life Gallery in Fairfield CT. That place was SWEET. The Fish will be a success story somehow. I'm just not sure how yet. How much would it be to airmail a big fish? hehe
