Hi, I have this turbinaria peltata for about 3 months and I didn't attach to the rock so it kept falling into the sand. When I finally decided attaching the coral never opened again. All the parameters are ok and the position is moderate to high light and moderate to high current. Any ideas...

Excelent, After one week my result where : Ca = 300 mg/l dKH = 10º pH=8,3 Tweak Ca in change water and dKH in aquarium, plus kalkwasser !!! Thanks guys I think I got there. I 'll wait to see !!

When you say "tweak" a little in each water change, do you mean using some addictives in change water ??

These parameters are from newly prepared SW. Strange, I thought that Alk was low and calcium was low but not to worry about.

Hi there, well I analysed my top off water to make sure that every parameter was ok and guess what ?? Ca = 40 mg/l dKH = 2,2 º or 40 mg/l pH=8,5 Is this correct or my top off water keeps pushing my aquarium water parameters down ??

Well, my aquarium is about 55 gallons with 50 kg live rock. I do weekly water changes of about 7 galons. I read somewhere something about magnesium interacting with calcium and hardness. What is te relation ? thanks

Hi, I have a red sea berlin 90 air lift skimmer and i think it's not working well because very few foam is coming out into the cup. It's placed right like the manufacteur says but how can i get more from it ?? Do I need a stronger pump ? Anyone with this kind of skimmer ??
