I have two Electric Blue Hermits, and they are bigger than the snails, and still in their original shells, so I can't see them attacking the snails. I think the dead snails were still in the shells as they were not hollow and the smell coming front the shells was as if something had died in them.

It is very "meaty" and the claws are solid, unlike a molting. Which led me to thinking hitchhiker.

I have two Electric Blue Hermits and have had no problems with them. There is no aggression with them, and I often find them tucked in a cave with my Fire Shrimp. I always make sure they are well fed by target feeding them with half a prawn each once a week.

I bought some more live rock a couple of days ago and this morning I found a dead electric blue hermit without it's shell. Both my electric blue hermits are fine and are scurrying around my tank in their normal unique style, so could this be a hitchhiker or has one of my crabs molted ??

Sorry..... I added 5 Green Chromis, 2 electric blue hermits, 5 snails, 1 Fire Blood Shrimp. My tank is 40 Gallon FOWLR

It is a week since I got the first inhabitants in my tank and I reckon they have all settled in well. I have tested the water and things are still good. I have already decided that I my next addition will be a pair of clown fish, do you reckon it's too soon or can I add them now.
