This is my planted south american cichlid tank

Just thought I'd share a pic

This was my 7 bar but sadly I left the lid off and he tried exploring outside of the tank which didn't work well for him but awesome fish though.

It's 110 gallons I think not sure I'm in oz and just go by feet and I know the fish I have in there will outgrow it but am upgrading soon

this is my tank one of tanks i currently have and it is housing for the moment 1 synodontis eupterus 1 gold spot pleco (maybe) 1 7 bar frontosa 1 green terror 1 texas cichlid 2 firemouths 1 siamese algae eater and about 9 electric yellow crosses

Yeah I'd rather have too much room than not enough

Yeah now that you say that 3 foot high would get frustrating but 3 deep would be pretty good. Hopefully I can get it done soon before my green terror and Texas get too big

Haven't got the eight footer yet but am Goin to be making it from scratch and want to make it 8' long 3' high and 2' deep

I think I found what it is it's a gold spot pleco

Currently in a four foot tank until I move then into an eight footer don't know what gallons cos I'm in oz

Well what's gold nuggets max size cos that guys at about 9 inches

Not sure hey bought him as a common pleco just assumed he was

I have had my pleco for about two years now living with an assortment of cichlids and never had a problem with him getting eaten. Here's a pic of him
