Well, you're right there. The fish are what's important. :) It's just amazing what they now have out there to help set up tanks. I remember growing up and they didn't have half of the products they have now. :)

I tried Prime. It didn't really work with my water and I couldn't get good readings. I suspect our Chloramines here are really, really strong. For some reason, the Hikari Ultimate seems to do a better job. Weird.

We have chloramines in our water which sucks. My LPS recommended a product called Hikari Ultimate Water Treatment. They use it in all their tanks to get rid of the chloramines and the other stuff that makes water bad for the fishies. Basically, the stuff seems to work really well. Ultimate

I forgot to mention - you don't rinse this gravel out. You put everything into your tank with water. The gravel is in a special liquid that's the bacteria so it's pre-seeded.
