it will cause the water in the tanks to evaporate faster and i suppose that it will cause some extra humidity in the room if the rooms ambient temperature is warmer but i dont see a a mold risk... mold is caused by the lack of air movement, warm temps, and high moisture... if you keep the room...

did you hang the lights from the ceiling on long chain or string hows did you hold them above the tank??

how did you mount them to the tank??... how did you Protect the lights from splashes?? how did you keep the possibility of the fish jumping out to a minimum??

i would like to add moon lights ( but are they necessary or just an aesthetic thing).. plus i would like the ability to add a timer on it so the light can be on the same schedule every day
