Moved over to a smaller aquarium.

Well I moved all my stuff over to the new aquarium. Looks much better with all that rock. About 2 to 2.5 lbs per gallon in there... Here are some pics. Now the stand was made from wood I had lying around at the house and stain and poly laying around from my kitchen remodel. Only cost was...

He is always in that pipe. I need to remove that pump. He backed up all the way down the pipe almost to the impeller. Its not plugged in because it is too powerful to be mounted with just an elbow outlet. When I first plugged it in it shot back and sucked up sand... shooting water 2 food up...

Any way to help with nitrates?!?

well next month I should be getting a slight bonus so I can add about 100 lbs of base rock and 50 lbs of live rock. I'm thinking I should take apart the tank completely.. move it off the stand.. fix the stand and put a 55 gallon tank under the main 125. Put a mix of a sump/refugium and then redo...

    Dreamer/Nightmare 135 gal. Tank Diary(3.12.07 update)

Clownfish do not need an anemone. I've had a maroon and two perculas with no problem. They will find something else to host if they really want to host something. General rule of thumb is about a year to wait for an anemone. Tank looks nice. When I started I had LR with coraline all...

Update on tank - Haven't Posted In A While

The ballast is the as220 - so it only supports 8' of vho. It was originally on my 55 gallon tank until I obtained the 125 for free. I used a 6' 1x4 pine board with holes drilled and counter-sinked to screw in my endcaps. So I have two bulbs over the center and one bulb over each side. All...
