This is how our 29 gal is set up I am not sure which plants are in it at the moment. 5 Black Skirt Tetras, 2 Dwarf Flame Gouramis, 5 Serpae Tetras, 3 Ghost Shrimp, 4 San Jaun Corys. I am thinking of adding a German Blue Ram to the tank also any thoughts on this.

Like Eco said stop using the other products. Test your tap water my tap water has 1.0 pompous of ammonia I'm it. My tanks bio filter is finally able to break down the ammonia in 24 hrs. Just use the prime to dechlorinate the water. It will take some time.

I had my original 6 for a year with no problems, I lost 4 of them when my tank heater broke. The 4 I got to replace them were the nipers bit the 2 older ones started to nip at my pleco.
