I agree with no rams I would add a single scar you don't want them to breed or they will kill stuff off. I would get sand for the sharks barbels it will appreciate it I love the look of sand to especially black sand.

Oh I,know lol Jack's can,be aggressive but,with correct tankmtes and as long as you add teammates while they are still young,they are generally pretty well behaved.

I would do a cichlid tank! I would do a stock of 9 Tiger Barbs 1 Firemouth cichlid 1 convict cichlid 1 blue acara

If you want the acara you should ditch the gourami and look into larger tetras, I would do a stock like this 9 Cory Cats 6 congo tetras 6 buenos aires tetras 1 Acara
